Affiliate marketing is all about marketing a certain product or service from companies offering such affiliate program. You can earn from this in a variety of ways. The two most common ones are from percentage of the sales they get through your referral or by the number of referrals you bring to their company. Affiliate marketing is done by posting a link on your website that leads to the sales page of the affiliate company. The downside of this option is that competition is quite high. Also, the product being marketed usually lacks quality making it difficult to market.
Network marketing home based business is one of the largest business opportunities you can do right in your own home. Here, you also have to market and sell a product. There are a lot of compensation packages to choose from depending on the network marketing company you decide to go for.
Unlike affiliate marketing, you can use whatever marketing strategy you can think of aside from internet marketing. Another advantage of network marketing is that the products being offered are mostly reliable since most of the companies offering this business opportunity predates the internet era. The downside is that some members doing network marketing are not used to using the internet as their marketing tool. This makes them downplay the leverage they might have over other members.
Whatever home based business you decide to go for, better make sure that you are in partnership with a trusted and registered company. Also, choose the one with the compensation package that suits you best.
