Experienced Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) Engineers

Senergy ADT is seeking experienced, self motivated and innovative Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) Engineers to join our Advanced Drilling Techniques (ADT) group. As technical specialists we seek to apply the appropriate ADT drilling solution designed to maximise our customer?s ultimate reservoir recovery or storage capability. Opportunity Summary

As a technical specialist the job involves the development, optimisation and execution of advanced well engineering, design and planning practices applied in non conventional well construction. The MPD Engineer provides technical expertise and specialist engineering support throughout the project life cycle from candidate selection and well delivery through to project closeout ensuring all projects are delivered to specification. As a function of the role the ADT engineer routinely interfaces or form teams with our in-house Subsurface Group and as a result successful candidates will be given the opportunity to broaden their expertise through formal training in areas such as:

? Reservoir Engineering
? Geomechanics
? Formation Damage

Further, successful candidates will be given the opportunity to train in other aspects of ADT becoming a multi-skilled technical specialist across the full range of ADT disciplines.

MPD Engineer?s Key Responsibilities

? Liaise with Drilling and Subsurface Engineering departments to ensure projects objectives are defined and met
? Design well trajectories
? Select appropriate method of MPD
? Carry out required engineering modelling
? Author full MPD feasibility studies specifying surface and drilling equipment
? Author the Technical Basis of Design
? Identify project risks and seek mitigation or risk management measures
? Develop comprehensive list of material requirements in concert with suppliers
? Prepare regulatory submissions as required
? Author drilling programmes and detailed operational procedures
? Prepare cost and time estimates and monitor performance during well construction
? Follow client?s QA/QC procedures during project planning and execution
? Ensure that client?s QHSE and other regulatory requirements are followed
? Ensure lessons learnt are captured and documented
? Reconcile project costs and performance against plan
? Prepare End of Well Reports

Candidate Criteria and Skills

? Be suitably qualified in their related discipline, preferably at degree level
? Have onshore planning and well site supervisory experience
? Be a self motivated active learner with good organisational skills
? Be an effective communicator with good report writing skills
? Team orientated
? Be proficient in the use of industry standard Drilling Engineering Software packages including Wellplan, Compass, Cerberus or equivalent applications
? Be preferably proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio and Project
