The Partnerships Group leads Cross-Cultural Solutions? academic partnerships, including colleges, universities, and high schools, identifying appropriate outreach and communications strategies and managing relationships with new and existing partners. Cross-Cultural Solutions seeks a high-energy, team-oriented Manager of Academic Partnerships to drive sign-up enrollments from and through outreach to academic partners, as well as supporting the enrollment of individuals and groups from campus relationship building and alumni outreach. The Partnerships Group is also responsible for collaborating with the Communications Department and Program Enrollment Department to develop collateral material specific to academic partners, and for organizing a system of potential and existing partners and group leaders.

The Manager of Academic Partnerships is responsible for building and implementing a strategy to successfully build relationships with academic institutions and maintain successful relationships with existing partners, including individual and group enrollments, by communicating the philosophy, program-specific details, and benefits of an international volunteer experience through Cross-Cultural Solutions. The Manager of Academic Partnerships is also responsible for the strategy and oversight of events, including alumni and campus information sessions, fairs, and conferences. This position is also responsible for the direct supervision of Partnerships staff and interns. Moderate to heavy travel, primarily within the United States, is required.

Qualifications ?Undergraduate degree is required, Master?s Degree preferred ?At least three years of full-time work experience with a focus on international education, higher education, or study abroad ?Knowledge of financial aid processes, scholarship opportunities, curriculum development, and experiential learning is strongly preferred ?Significant understanding of the complexity related to cross-cultural understanding; experience studying, volunteering, working or living overseas is strongly preferred ?Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interact effectively with faculty, staff, students, and parents of students at academic institutions ?Strong verbal, nonverbal, and written communication skills, and experience with public speaking ?Participation in a study abroad program or international volunteer program is preferred ?Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of Salesforce.com CRM; and, affinity for new media a plus

Salary/Benefits Starting salary is based on education and relevant professional experience. full benefits package after 90 days of employment includes: full medical; 401(k) plan; paid vacation, sick leave, & holidays.
