A Brevard County woman died Monday of injuries sustained in a golf-cart accident, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Elizabeth Sherman, 75, was on Palm Brook Drive in the Suntree golf-course community about 3:20 p.m. Sunday when she lost control as she tried to turn right, troopers said.
The cart hit a fence, and she was thrown to the ground, investigators said.
Sherman was taken by helicopter to Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, where she died.
